Some Basics on Adsense

We all or some of us are already making money with adsense, but not to the fullest we can from it, below are the simple steps which can bring some great CTR (click through ratio).

Blend your ads : most of us are very lazy to do this, we just put off the same old default code (java script), just spend 1 minute for setting your ad’s background color to be exactly the same color as webpage’s background color.

Selection of Banner Size : I used so many format of ad size and out of that most of us use the 468*60 which is not that effective, I personally now use the rectangular 336*280 size and my results increased 10 times than 468*60, its because most of internet users know 468*60 is an ad right off the bat.

One more thing avoid image ads, use only text based ads unless it’s needed for the template you setup.

You need to be careful with hyper link color too… use standard blue or purple color for your links or else blend the link color to match. People do not see it as a link unless they are in blue/purple.
